About the Role

⎜ Business Development Manager, Japan Entity

Location: Tokyo, Japan

Gaudio Lab is preparing for the full-scale expansion of its business in Japan, driven by strong growth potential in the market. We are in the process of establishing a local entity in Tokyo and are looking for a Business Development Manager who can lead and own our Japanese operations from the ground up.

This is a rare opportunity to join a team of world-class experts in audio and AI technologies and to grow your expertise in two of the most exciting and fast-evolving industries.

⎜Responsibilities

As the first member of Gaudio Lab Japan, you will lead business development and market expansion in Japan.
Identify and secure new clients and partners, build strong networks and relationships, conduct market research, and develop go-to-market strategies tailored to the Japanese market.
Leverage your understanding of external trends, sales dynamics, and marketing to set KPIs, shape business strategy, and improve operational systems, all to build a sustainable revenue foundation and accelerate growth.
Act as a strategic connector between the Japanese entity and Gaudio Lab HQ (Korea), ensuring seamless communication, alignment, and synergy across teams.

Qualifications

⎜Qualifications

15–20 years of experience in business development, sales, or related fields
Deep understanding of the Japanese market and business landscape
Native-level proficiency in Japanese, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Korean or English for effective collaboration with the HQ team in Korea
Proven ability to build strong rapport with clients and drive negotiations through persuasive communication
High level of integrity and a strong sense of responsibility in professional conduct
Prior experience working at a Japanese company or within a Japanese corporate culture
Based in or around Tokyo, with the ability to work primarily in the Tokyo area

⎜Preferred Qualifications

Experience or strong network in the broadcast/media, entertainment, or automotive industry in Japan
A degree from a Japanese university
