Must-See at IBC 2025: Gaudio Lab Debuts One-Stop Audio AI Solution for Content Localization

Amsterdam, August 28, 2025 Gaudio Lab, a leading innovator in AI-powered audio technology, will make its debut at the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) this September in Amsterdam, presenting a breakthrough solution that could transform the way broadcasters, content providers, and distributors prepare content for global distribution and localization.

Established in 1967, IBC has grown into one of the world’s largest broadcasting and media events, attracting professionals from over 170 countries and serving as a vital hub for discovering emerging technologies and forging international partnerships.

Introducing Gaudio Studio Pro

At IBC 2025, Gaudio Lab will introduce Gaudio Studio Pro, an AI-powered content localization platform designed to streamline the fragmented processes involved in preparing content for international distribution. The platform integrates AI source separation for M&E (Music and Effect) tracks, dubbing, music replacement, cue sheet generation, and localization into one seamless workflow.

One of its most impactful features is its ability to resolve copyright issues that often block content from being exported. For example, if a popular entertainment show contains copyrighted background music that prevents overseas sales, Gaudio Studio Pro can automatically detect and replace music tracks with alternatives from a library of over 110,000 high-quality tracks composed by human musicians, while preserving the original mood.

Over 90% Faster Localization

Powered by world-class AI audio separation technology, Gaudio Studio Pro can isolate dialogue, music, and effects even from a single mixed master track, allowing re-editing without separate audio stems. Its AI automatically detects music segments, swaps them with licensed tracks, generates accurate timecodes and cue sheets, and preserves the original mastering effects. This dramatically reduces production timelines by over 90% compared to traditional workflows, while significantly lowering costs.

Proven Technology with Global Recognition

Gaudio Studio Pro brings together Gaudio Lab’s globally certified audio technologies. Its file mixing and mastering capabilities were adopted as an ANSI/CTA standard in 2022. The company’s AI audio separation engine won the CES 2024 Innovation Award and was ranked first by leading international media evaluations. Its AI music recommendation and placement system also earned a CES 2025 Innovation Award. To ensure both speed and premium quality, the platform was co-developed with Wavelab, one of Korea’s top-tier film sound studios. Beyond the platform itself, Wavelab’s expert team offers review and manual editing services, adding an extra layer of trust and delivering a premium finish that meets the highest global standards.

Looking Ahead to IBC 2025

Henney Oh, CEO of Gaudio Lab, said that IBC offers a valuable opportunity to meet European broadcasters and distributors who struggle with the high costs and long timelines of content localization and international delivery. He added that the company’s mission is to make it easier for content to move freely across borders, enriching the global media landscape through trusted, world-class audio AI technologies.

Gaudio Lab will exhibit in the Future Tech Zone at RAI Amsterdam from September 12 to 15, 2025.

KRW 8 Billion into K-FAST Expansion Project, Half of Consortia Pick Gaudio Lab

KRW 8 Billion into K-FAST Expansion Project, Half of Consortia Pick Gaudio Lab     Seoul, Korea, August 20, 2025 – Gaudio Lab, a leading innovator in AI-powered audio and spatial sound technology, announced on the 20th that it will participate in the “AI Dubbing Specialized K-FAST Expansion Project” (hereinafter “K-FAST Expansion Project”), hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Association for ICT promotion. Gaudio Lab has been chosen by half of the final consortia selected for this project, making it the AI technology provider most widely adopted, and will supply its content localization technology.   The K-FAST Expansion Project is designed to overcome the crisis facing Korea’s media industry amid changes in the global OTT ecosystem and to target the rapidly growing global FAST (Free Ad-supported Streaming TV) market. The project will build AI-dubbing-specialized K-FAST channels using AI-based localization technology, expand the global reach of K-media and content, and further advance AI media technology.   The Korean government is investing a total of KRW 8 billion to accelerate the global spread of K-content through free streaming platforms. In this effort, Gaudio Lab will utilize its AI localization solution, Gaudio Studio Pro, to deliver high-quality AI dubbing.   Gaudio Studio Pro is an AI solution specialized for content expansion, capable of handling in one platform the fragmented processes required for overseas content distribution such as dubbing, background music replacement, cue sheet generation, and localization. The solution has already been recognized for its marketability and usability, having been used in collaboration with major broadcasters to prepare popular dramas and entertainment shows for export.   In addition, Gaudio Studio Pro performs essential multilingual dubbing automatically with AI while reproducing the mastering effects of the original content, enhancing the precision of dubbing. As a result, production costs are significantly reduced compared to fragmented manual work, and localization and re-production time—which typically took about a month—can be shortened by more than 90%.   Even when only a master track (a single mixed file without separated elements) is available, re-production is possible with Gaudio Lab’s world-class AI source separation technology, which automatically separates dialogue, music, and effects. AI source separation is essential in various localization workflows, such as isolating dialogue tracks for dubbing or detecting and replacing copyrighted music. Gaudio Lab’s AI source separation technology received a CES 2024 Innovation Award, and its AI music auto-placement system also won a CES 2025 Innovation Award.   Henney Oh, CEO of Gaudio Lab, said, “The success of content localization lies in speed, accuracy, and high quality. Through Gaudio Studio Pro, equipped with globally recognized source separation technology, we were chosen by the largest number of consortia. We will take this responsibility seriously and contribute to the worldwide expansion of K-content.”   Meanwhile, Gaudio Lab will participate in the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) to be held in the Netherlands this September, where it will showcase Gaudio Studio Pro and meet with global customers.
